New CNC Milling Machine Design

I have been working on a new design for a strong and affordable milling machine frame. It is also a very simple design as well that utilizes a standard right angle bracket from Enco. It consists of two steel plates that are 3/8" x 5" x 18". You then buy the affordable right angle brackets form Enco that are cast and machined and come with slots in them. If you buy the 4 1/2" wide brackets they cost about $7.00 when on sale. That is dirt cheap for a cast iron precision machined bracket. You must then locate and tap holes in your steel plates to accommodate the mounting of the bracket.
