__Coupler Spider Size 50__The size 50 coupler spiders are now being made by many manufacturers both US and foreign. They are used with two other coupler halves to make a 3 piece flexible jaw coupling. Those you still have to purchase those because they are pretty cheap and made of sintered metal which is hard to reproduce in a small shop. You can vary your material that you make these form. We made ours form HDPE to have anti-backlash spiders.

(Program notes: written for EMC2, uses a 1/4" endmill, set to cut through 1/2" thick material, we leave a thin floor that can be trimmed out later so the part doesn't fly away during the final cuts, Speeds and feed were set for HDPE material with a conservative approach.)
